An illustrative invitation for both, the wedding and the christening
The red colored layout was the only request the client submitted. This invitation was intended not only for the wedding of the couple, but also for the christening of their child. Therefore, I tried to illustrate not only a couple but also included a small family. The small illustrations show the couple's journey: their first date, the proposal, the upcoming wedding day and as couple married for a long time. The text emphasizes each of these moments with a theme: "confess love"‚ "love to give"‚ "promise to love"‚ "for a lifetime". To continue the theme of the invitation throughout the celebration, I created a small stamp using the "wedding moment" symbol. This made it possible for the couple to stamp the illustration onto place cards and their thank you cards.
Der einzige Wunsch des Kunden war, die Einladung in Rot zu gestalten. Die Einladung war nicht nur für die Hochzeit, sondern auch für die anschließende Taufe des Kindes, weshalb ich versuchte, nicht einfach nur ein Hochzeitspärchen zu illustrieren, sondern eher eine kleine Familie.
Die kleinen Illustrationen zeigen den gemeinsamen Weg des Paares, vom ersten Date über die Geburt des Kindes, die anstehende Hochzeit und als altes Ehepaar. Der Text unterstreicht dabei wie ein jeweiliges Motto den jeweiligen Moment auf diesem Weg.
Um das Thema der Einladung auch auf der Feier wieder aufzugreifen, wurde die Hochzeits-Illustration auch als Stempel umgesetzt und tauchte so z.B. auf den Platzkarten und der späteren Dankeskarte an die Gäste wieder auf.
A voucher for a flight for the whole family was illustrated the same way like the invitation.
Als Hochzeitsgeschenk wurde passend zu der Einladung ein Gutschein für eine gemeinsame (Flug-)Reise für die ganze Familie gestaltet.
