Musyal Christmas Card 2012
After scribbling an idea of a christmas scenery in my sketch book, I created an intricate christmas card for my own business. The motive, an imaginary mountain village in a christmas atmosphere, was fitting for sending this card to my clients during the holiday season.
Instead of simply placing the logo onto the card, I integrated it into the scenery to indicate how much of my own personality flows into my work. This also lets the client, in a very subtile way, recognize who sent this card at first sight. The text on the front of the card and the small illustration on the back received a UV coating while keeping the remainder of the backside minimalist. My address serves as a separator with my logo shown above it.
Nach einer Idee aus meinem Skizzenbuch gestaltete ich eine detailverliebte Weihnachtskarte für mich selbst. Als Motiv wählte ich ein fiktives Bergdorf in weihnachticher Stimmung und vorweihnachtlichem Treiben, so dass die Karte gut in die Adventszeit hinein passt, in der ich sie an meine Kunden verschicken wollte.
Anstatt mein Logo einfach auf der Karte zu platzieren, habe ich es in die Szene integriert, um deutlich zu machen, dass viel von mir selbst in meiner Arbeit steckt. So ist auf sehr zurückhaltende Weise mein Absender bereits auf der Vorderseite der Postkarte zu sehen. Der Text auf der Vorderseite und die kleine Illustration auf der Rückseite ist mit UV-Lack veredelt worden, die Rückseite ist ansonsten schlicht gehalten. Meine Adresse habe ich als Trennelement platziert, darüber dezent in Grau mein Logo.
